- Work closely with the Community Outreach team to develop and implement outreach strategies that engage and empower the diverse community of San Jose.
- Conduct research and gather data on community needs and interests to inform outreach efforts.
- Assist in planning and executing community events, workshops, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with various departments and organizations to coordinate outreach efforts and maximize impact.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members and key stakeholders.
- Utilize various communication channels, including social media, to promote community events and initiatives.
- Create engaging and informative content for outreach materials, such as flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to community outreach.
- Provide support for community outreach initiatives, including event set-up, registration, and follow-up.
- Act as a liaison between the City of San Jose and community members, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on the success of outreach efforts and identifying areas for improvement.
