1. Conduct research and analysis on current policies and their impact on the community.
2. Collaborate with city officials and stakeholders to identify areas for policy improvement.
3. Develop and draft new policies that align with the city's goals and values.
4. Review and analyze policy proposals from other departments and provide recommendations.
5. Monitor and track policy implementation and make necessary adjustments.
6. Communicate with community members to gather feedback on current policies and proposed changes.
7. Prepare reports and presentations on policy initiatives and progress to city officials and stakeholders.
8. Stay updated on local, state, and federal policies and regulations that may impact the city.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure policy coordination and consistency.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of public outreach and education programs related to policies.
11. Attend city council meetings and other public forums to present policy proposals and address community concerns.
12. Manage and maintain policy databases and files for easy access and reference.
13. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to policy development.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Policy Manager or city officials.
