
Legal Analyst I/II (Litigation Paralegal)

- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support the attorneys in ongoing litigation cases.
- Prepare and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties, including attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances for attorneys.
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and witness lists.
- Conduct document review and manage the electronic discovery process.
- Ensure compliance with all court rules and deadlines.
- Utilize legal databases and other resources to retrieve relevant case law and statutes.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and assist in the drafting of legal documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Stay current on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the City's legal matters.
- Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervising attorneys.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Litigation Paralegal In A Law Firm Or Government Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Legal Terminology, Procedures, And Documents Related To Civil Litigation.
Proficiency In Legal Research And Writing, Including Drafting Pleadings, Motions, And Other Legal Documents.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
