- Provide administrative support to attorneys by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing legal documents.
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain and update legal databases and filing systems to ensure efficient retrieval of information.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
- Conduct legal research and compile information for case preparation.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of legal forms and documents, including court filings.
- Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and summarizing documents for easy reference.
- Collaborate with other legal assistants and attorneys to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
- Attend and take notes during meetings, hearings, and depositions.
- Stay updated on legal terminology, procedures, and best practices.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set by the legal profession.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline processes and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervising attorneys.
A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Legal Administrative Role.
Knowledge Of Legal Terminology, Procedures, And Documentation.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Abilities To Effectively Interact With Attorneys, Staff, And The Public.
