- Review and evaluate environmental impact reports and plans for development projects.

- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings from inspections and investigations.
- Provide guidance and assistance to businesses and individuals on how to comply with environmental regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and hazardous material spills, and take necessary actions to mitigate the impact on the environment.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to environmental inspections and enforcement activities.
- Represent the City of San Jose at meetings, conferences, and community events related to environmental protection.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Biology, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental Regulations And Laws.
Experience Conducting Environmental Inspections And Investigations.
Strong Communication And Report Writing Skills.
Ability To Work Independently And Make Sound Decisions Based On Environmental Guidelines And Protocols.
