
Recreation Leader

- Organize and lead recreational activities and programs for community members of all ages.
- Promote health and wellness through planned activities and events.
- Foster social connections by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Create and implement engaging and diverse recreational programs that cater to the needs and interests of the community.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of all programs and events.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in all recreational spaces.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
- Keep accurate records of program attendance, feedback, and any incidents that may occur.
- Act as a positive role model for participants, promoting good sportsmanship and positive behaviors.
- Attend and actively participate in all department meetings and training sessions.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance recreational programs and services.
- Adhere to all department policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Help promote and market programs and events to increase participation and community engagement.
A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Either In A Recreational Facility Or Community Center Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Recreation Management, Physical Education, Or Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Diverse Groups Of Individuals, Including Children, Adults, And Seniors.
Knowledge Of Recreational Programs, Activities, And Facilities, Including Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Ability To Plan, Organize, And Lead Recreational Activities, As Well As Train And Supervise Staff And Volunteers.
