Job Description

The City of San Diego is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator for our SAP EAM Functional Support team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of our SAP EAM system, supporting the needs of various city departments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP EAM, a strong understanding of business processes, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.   1. Manage the implementation and maintenance of the SAP EAM system for various city departments.
  2. Provide functional support for the SAP EAM system, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
  3. Collaborate with city departments to understand their business processes and requirements, and ensure that the SAP EAM system supports their needs.
  4. Develop and implement training programs for city employees to ensure successful utilization of the SAP EAM system.
  5. Stay up-to-date with SAP EAM updates and enhancements, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  6. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
  7. Collaborate with the IT department to resolve technical issues and ensure system compatibility.
  8. Conduct regular audits of the SAP EAM system to ensure accuracy and compliance with city policies and procedures.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation for the SAP EAM system, including user guides and training materials.
  10. Communicate effectively with city departments and stakeholders to provide timely updates and gather feedback on system usage.
  11. Work closely with the project management team to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements.
  12. Analyze data and generate reports to track system usage and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Act as a liaison between the city and SAP support team, escalating issues and managing resolutions.
  14. Collaborate with other Program Coordinators and team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to system management.
  15. Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the SAP EAM system.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Sap Eam (Enterprise Asset Management) Functional Support.

  • Proven Experience In Project Coordination And Management, Preferably In A Public Sector Or Government Organization.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Sap Modules, Business Processes, And Integration With Other Systems.

  • Excellent Communication, Analytical, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment And With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
