- Ensure the safety of patrons at city pools by closely monitoring pool areas and enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular checks of pool equipment and report any malfunctions or hazards to superiors.
- Provide assistance and first aid to patrons in case of emergencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area at all times, including keeping the pool deck and surrounding areas free of debris.
- Communicate effectively with patrons, fellow pool guards, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of pool equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, and lifeguard stands.
- Attend and actively participate in all required training and meetings to stay updated on safety protocols and procedures.

- Report any incidents or concerns to appropriate supervisors in a timely manner.
- Follow all city and pool safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: As A Pool Guard I, It Is Crucial To Have Current Certification In Cpr And First Aid To Respond To Any Emergency Situations That May Occur.
Lifeguard Certification: This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Effectively Monitor And Maintain Pool Safety.
