  1. Coordinate and manage various people analytics programs, projects, and initiatives to support the City's workforce strategies.
  2. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends and make recommendations for improving organizational performance and employee engagement.
  3. Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to track key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and departmental leaders, to gather and analyze data and develop impactful solutions.
  5. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful completion of initiatives.
  6. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in people analytics.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to promote the use of data-driven decision making and drive adoption of new strategies and tools.
  8. Train and educate employees on utilizing data and analytics to inform decision making and drive organizational success.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented programs and make adjustments as needed.
  10. Stay compliant with data privacy and security regulations and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall effectiveness of the People Analytics team.
  13. Represent the City of San Diego and the People Analytics team in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Data Analytics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Human Resources Or Data Analytics Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Hr Processes And Data Analysis Techniques.

  • Experience With Hr Information Systems And Data Visualization Tools.

  • Excellent Project Management And Communication Skills.
