  1. Operate heavy trucks and equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and city regulations.
  2. Transport materials and supplies to various city facilities and construction sites, ensuring timely delivery.
  3. Inspect trucks and equipment before and after use, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage, and submit required reports on a timely basis.
  5. Adhere to established routes and schedules, while also being flexible to accommodate any changes or special requests.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper loading and unloading techniques and securing of cargo.
  7. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and represent the city in a professional and courteous manner.
  9. Keep abreast of all relevant city policies and regulations, and comply with all applicable laws.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job performance and maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
