  1. Perform regular maintenance tasks on city parks, landscapes, and public spaces, such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
  2. Operate and maintain various grounds maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers.
  3. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all public spaces, including picking up litter and debris.
  4. Identify and report any issues or hazards within the parks and public spaces to supervisors.
  5. Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
  6. Follow proper safety protocols and procedures while working outdoors, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and complete projects efficiently.
  8. Monitor and report on the condition of plants and trees, and make recommendations for replacements or improvements.
  9. Participate in special projects and events, such as park cleanups or tree plantings.
  10. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with the public and answering questions about park maintenance.
