- Maintain accurate and confidential records of victim interactions and services provided.

- Communicate effectively with victims, law enforcement, and other professionals involved in the criminal justice system.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to victims during difficult times.
- Assist victims in accessing financial and legal resources.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness about victim services.
- Work closely with other members of the Victim Assistance Unit to ensure a coordinated and effective response to victims.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with victims and their families.
- Comply with all ethical and legal standards in providing victim services.
- Conduct follow-up with victims to ensure their ongoing needs are being met.
- Serve as an advocate for victims' rights and needs within the criminal justice system.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal professionals to ensure victims' rights are upheld.
- Continuously evaluate and improve victim services and procedures.
- Uphold the mission and values of the City of Pittsburgh in all interactions and actions.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Victims Of Crime, Trauma, Or Crisis.
Knowledge Of Local And State Laws Pertaining To Victims' Rights And Services.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.
Experience In Case Management And Providing Advocacy And Support Services To Victims And Their Families.
