- Perform skilled work in the construction, repair, and maintenance of various types of structures, including but not limited to buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, such as welding and cutting torches, cranes, and hoists, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the layout and placement of structural components.
- Install and secure structural components, such as beams, columns, and girders, using appropriate techniques and methods.
- Perform rigging operations to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and contractors to coordinate tasks and ensure project completion within designated timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of structural components to identify and address any potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any construction-related problems or challenges that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, materials used, and equipment utilized.

Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Construction Plans
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Completion Of A Recognized Apprenticeship Program In Structural Ironworking
Valid Driver's License And Reliable Transportation
