  1. Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and community members to support outreach efforts.
  2. Coordinate and schedule outreach events and activities in collaboration with partner organizations.
  3. Assess the needs of the community and identify areas where outreach efforts can make a positive impact.
  4. Create and implement outreach strategies to engage and educate community members on important issues and resources available.
  5. Act as a liaison between the City of Pittsburgh and partner organizations to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  6. Monitor and track outreach efforts and provide regular reports on progress and impact.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to identify resources and opportunities for community development.
  8. Provide support and guidance to volunteers and staff involved in outreach efforts.
  9. Stay up-to-date on community needs and issues to inform outreach strategies.
  10. Assist in developing and managing outreach budgets and resources.
  11. Represent the City of Pittsburgh at community events and meetings.
  12. Communicate effectively with diverse populations and adapt outreach strategies to meet the needs of different communities.
  13. Uphold the values and mission of the City of Pittsburgh in all outreach efforts.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and expand outreach efforts.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation of outreach activities.
  16. Adhere to all city and state regulations and policies related to outreach and community engagement.
  17. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote a cohesive and coordinated approach to community outreach.
  18. Serve as a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the City of Pittsburgh and its outreach efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Community Development, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Community Outreach And Engagement.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience Working With Underserved Communities And Understanding Of Their Unique Needs And Challenges.

  • Familiarity With Local Resources And Organizations Related To Community Development, Education, And Social Services.
