
Recreation Leader, Community Enrichment Program (Part-time)

- Plan and implement recreational activities for community members of all ages.
- Develop and maintain a diverse range of programs and events that promote a healthy and engaging community.
- Lead and supervise participants during recreational activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times.
- Collaborate with community organizations and partners to enhance program offerings.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of program attendance, supplies, and budget.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers to support program activities.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and community members to promote program offerings and address any concerns.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Continuously assess and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in the field of recreation.
- Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.
Bachelor's Degree In Recreation Management, Community Development, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Planning And Implementing Recreational Programs, Preferably In A Community Setting.
Knowledge Of Community Resources And The Ability To Collaborate With Local Organizations To Enhance Program Offerings.
Cpr And First Aid Certification, Or Willingness To Obtain Within 3 Months Of Hire.
