- Conduct research and analyze data related to curb management and new mobility policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of transportation policies, laws, and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing transportation programs and policies, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with various city departments, community groups, and stakeholders to gather input and feedback on transportation issues and initiatives.
- Identify and assess potential challenges and opportunities in the transportation sector, and develop strategies to address them.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations to city leaders and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in curb management and new mobility, and make recommendations for their application in Pittsburgh.
- Foster relationships with external partners, including other cities, transportation agencies, and private companies, to share knowledge and collaborate on innovative transportation solutions.

- Advocate for equitable and sustainable transportation options for all residents, particularly those in underserved communities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon transportation policies and procedures to ensure they are efficient, effective, and equitable.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on transportation issues and provide guidance and support to other city departments as needed.
- Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to transportation policies and initiatives.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to transportation to stay current on industry developments and network with other professionals.
- Uphold the city's policies and procedures, and act in accordance with its values and mission at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Urban Planning, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Policy Analysis And Development, With A Focus On Curb Management And New Mobility.
Strong Understanding Of Local Government Operations And Policies, Particularly Related To Transportation And Mobility.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collect And Analyze Data To Inform Policy Decisions.
Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Present Complex Policy Ideas To Non-Technical Audiences.
