- Preserve and protect the natural beauty of parks and green spaces in the City of Pittsburgh.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of designated park areas.
- Promote environmental conservation and educate park visitors on the importance of preserving natural resources.
- Ensure the safety and security of park visitors by patrolling designated areas and responding to any emergencies.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and providing information about park amenities and activities.
- Collaborate with other park staff to plan and organize educational programs and events.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as trail maintenance, litter removal, and facility upkeep.
- Perform first aid and CPR as needed.
- Keep detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively with park management and report any concerns or issues.
- Serve as a positive role model for visitors by demonstrating responsible park use and conservation practices.
- Stay up-to-date on park policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Bachelor's Degree In Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Park Or Outdoor Recreation Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Park Visitors And Providing Education And Assistance.
Knowledge Of Local Flora And Fauna, As Well As Park Rules And Regulations.
Ability To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays, As Needed.
