  1. Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with diverse populations in various neighborhoods throughout Pittsburgh.
  2. Manage and coordinate outreach programs and events to promote community involvement and positive change.
  3. Collaborate with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to build partnerships and expand outreach efforts.
  4. Conduct research and gather data to understand the needs and interests of different communities and tailor outreach efforts accordingly.
  5. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of outreach volunteers to assist with program implementation.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Develop and manage outreach budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining financial accountability.
  8. Act as a liaison between the City of Pittsburgh and community members, advocating for their needs and addressing any concerns.
  9. Represent the City at community events and meetings to promote outreach programs and initiatives.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current social and community issues and trends to inform outreach strategies and initiatives.
  11. Maintain accurate records and reports on outreach activities and outcomes.
  12. Work closely with other City departments to ensure coordination and alignment of outreach efforts with overall community goals.
  13. Serve as a role model for community engagement and foster a positive and inclusive environment for all stakeholders.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the execution of outreach activities.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of community outreach and engagement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Social Work, Community Development, Or Public Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Community Outreach Or Program Management.
