Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field (E.g. Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management)
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Building Inspection Or Code Enforcement
Thorough Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations, Including Local And State Codes
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Variety Of Stakeholders Such As Contractors, Property Owners, And Other City Officials
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Assess And Document Code Violations And Enforce Corrective Actions.
