  1. Conduct data analysis related to public health and safety initiatives to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
  2. Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Develop and implement data collection methods and processes to ensure the timely and accurate acquisition of relevant data.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide insights and recommendations for improving public health and safety.
  5. Utilize data visualization tools to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Stay up-to-date with advancements in data analytics and public health/safety research to continuously improve data analysis methods.
  7. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track progress and communicate results to key stakeholders.
  8. Identify and propose potential solutions to address public health and safety challenges based on data analysis.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven policies and initiatives to improve public health and safety.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations while handling sensitive information.
  11. Train and educate team members on data analysis techniques and tools to enhance overall data literacy within the organization.
  12. Act as a liaison between various departments and agencies to facilitate data sharing and collaboration.
  13. Participate in meetings, presentations, and other events to share data insights and findings with stakeholders.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve data management processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all job-related activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Health, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience Working With Large Datasets And Proficiency In Data Analysis Software Such As Excel, Python, Or R.

  • Knowledge Of Health And Safety Regulations And Best Practices, Particularly In A Municipal Or Government Setting.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Clearly Present Complex Data To A Non-Technical Audience.

  • Prior Experience In A Health And Safety Role, Preferably In A Public Sector Organization.
