
Crisis Response Clinician

- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
- Collaborate with local agencies and emergency services to assess and address the needs of individuals in crisis.
- Utilize knowledge and training in mental health to provide appropriate and effective interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the level of care needed for individuals in crisis.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to effectively address the needs of individuals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all crisis interventions and follow-up services provided.
- Work closely with community resources to ensure individuals receive ongoing support and follow-up care.
- Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when working with individuals in crisis.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of crisis response.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to crisis response.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to the provision of mental health services.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals seeking crisis support.
- Educate community members and organizations on mental health and crisis intervention resources and services.
- Communicate effectively with individuals in crisis, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Represent the City of Pittsburgh and the crisis response team in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Crisis Response Or Mental Health Setting
Knowledge And Proficiency In Crisis Intervention Techniques And Trauma-Informed Care
Ability To Work Flexible Hours Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Community Partners
