Welcome to the City of Pittsburgh! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Crisis Response Clinician to join our team and provide vital support to our community in times of crisis. As a Crisis Response Clinician, you will work collaboratively with local agencies and emergency services to provide immediate intervention and support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.   1. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
  2. Collaborate with local agencies and emergency services to assess and address the needs of individuals in crisis.
  3. Utilize knowledge and training in mental health to provide appropriate and effective interventions.
  4. Conduct thorough assessments to determine the level of care needed for individuals in crisis.
  5. Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to effectively address the needs of individuals.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all crisis interventions and follow-up services provided.
  7. Work closely with community resources to ensure individuals receive ongoing support and follow-up care.
  8. Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when working with individuals in crisis.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of crisis response.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to crisis response.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to the provision of mental health services.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals seeking crisis support.
  13. Educate community members and organizations on mental health and crisis intervention resources and services.
  14. Communicate effectively with individuals in crisis, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  15. Represent the City of Pittsburgh and the crisis response team in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Crisis Response Or Mental Health Setting

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Crisis Intervention Techniques And Trauma-Informed Care

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Community Partners
