- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to promote safety awareness and education.
- Represent the city in safety-related meetings and conferences.
- Serve as a point of contact for safety concerns and inquiries from the public.
- Provide guidance and support to city employees on safety-related matters.
- Uphold the city's commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its residents.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Safety Inspection, Preferably In A Municipal Or Government Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety Regulations And Codes.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate Safety Procedures And Policies To Employees.
Certification As A Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Is Preferred.
