  1. Conduct thorough and regular inspections of all electrical installations in the city to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
  2. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or code violations found during inspections.
  3. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other city officials to address any issues or concerns related to electrical installations.
  4. Provide guidance and support to contractors and homeowners regarding electrical codes and regulations.
  5. Keep up-to-date with changes in electrical codes and regulations and ensure that all inspections are conducted in accordance with the latest standards.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all inspections and findings.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to report progress, issues, and concerns.
  8. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to electrical inspections.
  9. Foster a positive and professional working relationship with all stakeholders, including coworkers, contractors, and the community.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the safety and reliability of electrical systems in the city.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Electrical Inspection Or Related Field

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And National Electrical Codes And Regulations

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work With Contractors, Developers, And City Officials

  • Proficient In Reading And Interpreting Construction Plans And Specifications

  • Certification As A Licensed Electrical Inspector Or Equivalent From A Recognized Organization.
