- Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the individual needs of each student are met.
- Utilize various teaching methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess and track student progress and provide regular updates to parents and the Head Start program.

- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the City of Oakland Head Start program.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant information.
- Serve as an advocate for early childhood education and the Head Start program in the community.
- Collaborate with other Head Start Instructors and program staff to ensure the overall success of the program.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Young Children In A Classroom Setting.
Knowledge Of Child Development Principles And Experience Implementing Developmentally Appropriate Practices.
Familiarity With Head Start Program Requirements And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Families, Colleagues, And Community Partners.
