  1. Answer emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Dispatch appropriate resources, including police, fire, and medical personnel, to emergency situations.
  3. Provide crucial support to first responders by relaying important information and updates.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all calls and dispatches.
  5. Monitor and prioritize incoming calls and dispatches to ensure efficient use of resources.
  6. Communicate effectively with callers to gather necessary information and provide instructions as needed.
  7. Remain calm and composed in high-pressure and emergency situations.
  8. Collaborate with other dispatchers and emergency personnel to coordinate response efforts.
  9. Follow established protocols and procedures for handling different types of calls and situations.
  10. Continuously monitor and assess the status of emergency situations and provide updates to first responders.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to callers and provide reassurance and support when needed.
  12. Assist in training and mentoring new dispatchers as needed.
  13. Keep up-to-date with new procedures and technologies related to emergency communication and dispatch.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
