
Child Care Teacher

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for young children.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and play.
- Provide daily care and supervision for children, including feeding, diapering/toileting, and naptime.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents and guardians about their child's development and progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, diversity, and teamwork.
- Observe and document children's behavior, progress, and milestones in accordance with program guidelines.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events and activities.
- Continuously assess and make adjustments to curriculum and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Attend professional development trainings and workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, as well as program policies and procedures.
- Serve as a positive role model for children and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Nurture and support the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
- Build strong relationships with children and families to promote a sense of community within the program.
- Display a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of young children.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Children In A Licensed Child Care Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or Related Field.
Current Cpr And First Aid Certification.
Knowledge Of Child Development And Age-Appropriate Teaching Methods.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Children, Parents, And Co-Workers.
