
Accounting Manager
Assumes management responsibility for the services and activities of the Accounting Division including general accounting, financial reporting, cash management, debt management and monitoring, treasury, and budgeting functions. Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures. Participates in the selection of accounting personnel; provides or coordinates staff training. Oversees and participates in the development and administration of the Division's annual budget. Participates in the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies. Reviews, analyzes, and approves a variety of financial statements and accounting transactions.
5 years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience,
2 years of administrative and supervisory responsibility, preferably in a local governmental agency
