  1. Design and implement traffic solutions to improve safety and efficiency of transportation systems in the City of Jersey City.
  2. Analyze traffic data and trends to identify problem areas and develop effective solutions.
  3. Utilize engineering principles and techniques to create innovative and sustainable transportation strategies.
  4. Collaborate with other city departments, community organizations, and transportation agencies to coordinate and implement traffic projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License In The State Of New Jersey.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Or Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Traffic Analysis Software, Such As Synchro, Vissim, And/Or Hcs.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Traffic Engineering Standards And Regulations.
