Supervising Lifeguard

1. Oversee and manage a team of lifeguards at various public pools and beaches.
2. Ensure the safety and well-being of all community members using our facilities.
3. Train and supervise lifeguards on proper safety procedures and protocols.
4. Develop and implement schedules for lifeguards to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
5. Monitor and evaluate lifeguard performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
6. Maintain a high level of professionalism and enforce all rules and regulations at the pool and beach facilities.
7. Respond to any emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
8. Collaborate with other city departments to ensure the smooth operation of pool and beach facilities.
9. Keep accurate records of pool and beach usage, incidents, and maintenance needs.
10. Conduct regular safety inspections of pool and beach areas and equipment.
11. Communicate with the public and address any concerns or issues related to pool and beach safety.
12. Stay up-to-date on all lifeguarding certifications and attend necessary training courses.
13. Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new lifeguard staff.
14. Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere at all times.
15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
