  1. Develop and implement health education programs and initiatives for the City of Jersey City.

  3. Collaborate with community organizations, health agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and address health needs.
  4. Plan and facilitate educational workshops, presentations, and events to educate the community on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.

  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health education strategies and techniques.

  9. Network and build relationships with other health professionals and organizations to enhance community outreach efforts.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in the field of health education.
  11. Prepare and manage budgets for health education programs and events.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote health education programs and events to the community.
  13. Maintain accurate records and data related to program participation and outcomes.
  14. Assist in the development of grant proposals to secure funding for health education initiatives.
  15. Act as a role model for healthy behaviors and serve as an advocate for promoting health and wellness in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Education, Public Health, Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Certified Health Education Specialist (Ches) Or A Master Certified Health Education Specialist (Mches).

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Health Education Programs And Initiatives.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Health Promotion And Disease Prevention Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Experience In Conducting Educational Workshops And Presentations.
