We are currently seeking a Part-time Community Services Leader II to join our Facility Operations Support team.   1. Oversee the maintenance and operations of community facilities to ensure they are clean, safe, and accessible for residents and visitors.
  2. Develop and implement facility management plans to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources.
  3. Coordinate with other departments and community organizations to plan and execute events and programs at the facilities.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance.
  5. Train and supervise a team of facility staff, including assigning tasks and providing guidance and support.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or safety concerns and address them in a timely manner.
  7. Respond to and resolve any facility-related complaints or issues from community members.
  8. Maintain accurate records of facility usage, maintenance, and expenses.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving facility operations and customer satisfaction.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for facility management and implement them as needed.
  11. Assist with budget planning and management for facility operations.
  12. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including staff, community members, and management, to ensure a smooth and positive facility experience.
  13. Uphold the City of Irvine's values of service, integrity, and teamwork in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Facility Operations Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Maintenance And Repair Techniques For Buildings And Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Staff And Community Members.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Some College Coursework Preferred.
