1. Provide high-quality medical care for the animals at the City of Honolulu zoo.
2. Conduct routine health examinations and develop treatment plans for sick or injured animals.
3. Perform surgical procedures and administer medications as needed.
4. Monitor the health and well-being of all zoo animals and provide preventative care when necessary.
5. Collaborate with zookeepers and other staff to ensure the physical and behavioral needs of the animals are met.
6. Develop and implement animal husbandry protocols to promote the health and welfare of the animals.
7. Keep accurate and detailed medical records for all animals in the zoo.
