
Utilities Instrumentation Technician - Water Pollution
Schedules, prioritizes and performs preventative and corrective instrumentation maintenance work involving water and wastewater treatment and conveyance equipment. Calibrate, test, repair, and install process control instruments, programmable logic controllers, SCADA systems, and systems that measure, record and control pressure, temperature, flow and level. Diagnose and correct problems in components and instrument control loops involving electrical, pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical sensing and control devices, such as actuators. level. Prepares requisitions for new or replacement equipment, supplies and material. Assists in fabrication and assembly of control and monitoring equipment.
2 years of experience in process control instrumention and performing installation and maintenance
Considerable knowledge of pneumatic/electronic/hydraulic and mechanical components and circuits
Knowledge of the functions and methods/operations/mechanics of a Water Pollution Control/Water Plant Facility or similar Utility facility
