
Environmental Compliance Analyst
Performs routine chemical, physical and biological analyses, using standard methods, as required for process control at the City sewage treatment plant, for monitoring compliance with the plant's wastewater discharge permit. Performs inspections and routine chemical, physical and biological analyses, using standard methods, to access the contents of storm and sanitary sewers. Inspects the facilities and activities of commercial and industrial sewer users, as required for conducting an Industrial Waste Survey and for assessing compliance with sewer-use ordinances.
Working knowledge of general and organic chemistry as wel as elementary physics/biology and bacteriology
Ability to efficiently perform chemical analysis using standard methods
