You will also be responsible for investigating complaints and incidents related to water safety and providing education and training to facility operators and the public on water safety practices.To excel in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A minimum of two years of experience in water safety or a related field is required, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain certification as a Certified Pool Operator within six months of employment. Knowledge Of Water Safety Regulations And Protocols: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Water Safety And Be Able To Effectively Enforce Them.
Certification In Lifeguarding And First Aid/Cpr: The Candidate Should Hold Current Certifications In Lifeguarding, First Aid, And Cpr To Ensure They Can Respond To Any Emergency Situations That May Arise.
Experience In Conducting Safety Inspections: Candidates Should Have Experience In Conducting Safety Inspections In Aquatic Facilities, Such As Swimming Pools, Water Parks, And Beaches, To Identify Any Potential Hazards And Ensure Compliance With Safety Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Water Safety Inspector, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Pool Staff, Pool Owners, And The General Public. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Safety Protocols And Addressing Any Concerns.
