- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the city's parks and recreational facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and community members at park centers.
- Develop and implement programs and events to promote the use of city parks and facilities.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of park facilities and equipment.
- Monitor park activities and enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
- Assist with the preparation, setup, and breakdown of events and activities at park centers.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain and improve park facilities and grounds.
- Keep accurate records and reports of park usage, events, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Remain knowledgeable about park amenities, programs, and events to provide accurate information to visitors.
- Act as a liaison between the community and the city's parks and recreation department.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve park services and offerings.
- Train and supervise volunteers and seasonal staff as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing job duties.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Parks And Recreation Management Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Park Or Recreation Center Setting.
Knowledge Of Park Maintenance And Operations, Including Facility Maintenance, Equipment Management, And Safety Procedures.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups Of People.
Proficiency In Computer Skills, Including Knowledge Of Park Management Software And Microsoft Office.
