Deputy Director Chief of Staff

Act as an adviser and thought partner to the Director and senior management team. Assist the Director in facilitating effective decision making by streamlining access and information from direct reports to the Director. Partner with Assistant Directors of Adult and Youth Workforce Services Divisions, Business Services, and Strategic Initiatives to develop strategic direction and ensure alignment with the agency’s mission and goals. Utilize data obtained in planning for the purpose of organizing and developing new or expanded programs, and for evaluating and coordinating existing programs. Review and provide technical support for grant applications. Define management improvement needs and develops recommendations and programs to meet identified needs. Develop strategies for human capital recruitment and retention plans.
