  1. Develop and implement strategies to protect and conserve the city's water resources.
  2. Conduct regular assessments and monitoring of water quality and quantity.
  3. Identify potential risks and threats to water resources and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with water protection regulations and policies.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in water protection and conservation.

  11. Participate in the development and implementation of emergency plans for water-related incidents.
  12. Ensure all city operations and activities comply with water protection regulations and guidelines.
  13. Train and mentor junior staff members on water protection best practices.
  14. Represent the city at meetings and conferences related to water protection.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to water protection activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Water Quality Monitoring, Watershed Management, Or Environmental Compliance.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Water Quality And Protection.

  • Experience In Data Analysis And Interpretation, Including Proficiency In Using Gis And Other Relevant Software.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Community Groups, And Industry Partners.
