- Conduct research and analysis on utility regulatory policies and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- Collaborate with city leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement effective utility regulatory policies that align with the city's values and goals.
- Evaluate and assess the impact of proposed policies on the community, taking into consideration factors such as affordability, reliability, and sustainability.
- Prepare and present reports, briefings, and recommendations to city leadership and other relevant parties.
- Monitor and track regulatory proceedings and developments at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling to inform policy decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, community groups, and government agencies.
- Communicate complex regulatory issues and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Participate in public meetings and hearings to represent the city's interests and provide expert testimony.
- Collaborate with other city departments and agencies to ensure coordination and alignment of policies and regulations.

Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Economics, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Utility Regulatory Policy Analysis Or A Similar Role.
Strong Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Utility Services.
Excellent Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data And Policies.
