  1. Provide high-level administrative support to the City Manager, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents and presentations.
  2. Conduct research and gather data to support the City Manager in making strategic decisions and developing policies.
  3. Communicate and collaborate with various city departments and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates to the City Manager.
  4. Assist with the preparation and review of the city budget and other financial documents.
  5. Coordinate and plan special events and meetings for the City Manager.
  6. Monitor and track progress on key city initiatives and projects, providing regular updates to the City Manager.
  7. Serve as a liaison between the City Manager's office and other city departments, as well as external organizations and community groups.
  8. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for the City Manager.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  10. Stay current on local government issues and trends to provide insight and recommendations to the City Manager.
  11. Handle incoming inquiries and requests, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel when necessary.
  12. Assist with the implementation of new initiatives and programs to improve city operations and services.
  13. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  15. Represent the City Manager at meetings and events as needed.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Administration, Political Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Local Government Or A Relevant Field, Such As Economic Development Or Community Engagement.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of City Government Operations, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion And Professionalism.
