- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols.
- Position patients for imaging procedures and adjust equipment to obtain clear and accurate images.
- Review patient medical histories and provide instructions for imaging procedures.
- Communicate with patients to ensure their comfort and address any concerns or questions.
- Follow established protocols and safety measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.

Completion Of An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: Applicants Must Have Successfully Completed A Two-Year Associate's Degree Or Four-Year Bachelor's Degree Program In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Institution.
Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt): The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Current Arrt Certification In Radiography And Be Registered In The State Of Texas.
Knowledge Of Radiographic Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Radiographic Equipment And Techniques, Including Positioning Patients, Selecting Appropriate Exposure Factors, And Obtaining High-Quality Images.
Proficiency In Patient Care And Communication: A Successful Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Work Experience In A Hospital, Clinic, Or Other Healthcare Setting Is Preferred. Candidates Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Patient Care, And Safety Protocols.
