  1. Review and analyze permit and licensing applications to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Conduct thorough research and investigations to gather all necessary information for permit and licensing reviews.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to facilitate the review process and ensure timely completion.
  4. Identify potential issues or discrepancies in permit and licensing applications and provide recommendations for resolution.
  5. Communicate with applicants and other parties involved to clarify information and address any concerns or questions.
  6. Keep accurate and organized records of all permit and licensing reviews and related documents.
  7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and policies in order to accurately interpret and apply them during the review process.
  8. Assist in the development and improvement of permit and licensing processes and procedures.

  11. Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information and documents related to permit and licensing reviews.

  14. Represent the City of Austin in a professional manner at meetings and events related to permit and licensing reviews.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Administration, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Permit And Licensing Review, Preferably In A Government Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Permits And Licenses.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Review And Interpret Complex Documents.
