  1. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employment and compensation laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on changes in HR laws and regulations.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on leave administration processes.
  4. Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement fair and equitable HR policies and procedures.
  5. Assist in the recruitment and selection process, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  7. Respond to and resolve employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  9. Monitor and analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Act as a liaison between employees, managers, and HR staff to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
  11. Participate in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  12. Stay informed on best practices and industry standards in HR to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  13. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  14. Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure consistency and efficiency in HR processes.
  15. Support the City's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting a fair and inclusive workplace for all employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, With A Focus On Employment And Compensation Or Leave Administration.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Employment And Compensation Or Leave Administration.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Employees And Management At All Levels.

  • Experience With Hris Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
