- Learn and Develop Technical Skills: The Fleet Equipment Technician Intern will have the opportunity to develop their technical skills by working alongside experienced technicians and learning hands-on maintenance and repair techniques for a variety of equipment.
- Assist with Equipment Maintenance and Repairs: The intern will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment, including but not limited to vehicles, heavy equipment, and small engines. This may include tasks such as replacing parts, performing diagnostic tests, and conducting routine inspections.
- Follow Safety Protocols: The intern will be expected to follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with equipment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and reporting any safety concerns to their supervisor.
- Maintain Accurate Records: The intern will be responsible for keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs conducted on equipment, including documenting parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered during the process.
