- Oversee the development and execution of waste reduction and diversion programs to meet the city's environmental goals.

- Monitor and analyze departmental performance data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with other city departments, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote waste reduction and environmental sustainability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to waste management and environmental sustainability.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to city leadership and other stakeholders.
- Manage the department's budget, ensuring responsible and efficient use of resources.
- Represent the department at community events and engage with the public to promote awareness and education on waste management and sustainability.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role, Preferably In A Municipal Government Or Waste Management Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Waste Management Practices And Regulations, Including Recycling And Composting Programs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With A Diverse Team And Communicate With Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Budget Development And Management, As Well As Experience Implementing And Evaluating Programs And Initiatives.
