
Assistant Water Treatment Plant Manager
The City of Ann Arbor Water Treatment Plant is looking to hire an Assistant Manager in Water Treatment Services to oversee water system operation, maintenance, and compliance associated with our award-winning drinking water. This position will supervise operations and maintenance staff responsible for the water plant, reservoirs, pump stations, dams and hydroelectric generating stations that treat and deliver safe drinking water to more than 125,000 Ann Arbor utility customers. In conjunction with the Plant Manager and the Drinking Water Quality Manager, the Assistant Manager will interact with a diverse customer base (watershed nonprofits, city service units, elected officials and Ann Arbor residents) to ensure that the drinking water being delivered meets established regulatory, safety, quality and fiscal standards.
At least 5 years of progressively more responsible experience
A Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering field is preferred
