- Conduct investigations into employee relations matters, such as harassment or discrimination complaints, and provide thorough and timely conclusions and recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and consultation to managers and HR partners on complex employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance in all employee relations matters.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including legal counsel and HR leadership, to address sensitive and high-level employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with HR partners to provide training and education on employee relations topics to promote a culture of respect and fairness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance and support on a wide range of employee relations matters.
- Analyze data and trends to identify potential areas of concern and recommend proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify potential areas for improvement in employee relations practices.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employee relations matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all employee relations cases and investigations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve employee relations processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of employee relations professionals to ensure consistency and best practices across the organization.
- Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior and uphold the company's values and code of conduct.
Extensive Experience In Employee Relations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Handling Employee Relations Issues, Including Conducting Investigations And Providing Guidance To Managers And Hr Teams.
Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: As A Senior Employee Relations Lead Investigator, The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Employment Laws And Regulations At The Local, State, And Federal Levels. This Includes Knowledge Of Equal Employment Opportunity, Discrimination, Harassment, And Retaliation Laws.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Will Involve Interacting With Employees, Managers, And Hr Teams On A Regular Basis. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Information And Build Relationships With Stakeholders.
Proven Track Record Of Conducting Thorough Investigations: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Conducting Thorough And Unbiased Investigations Into Employee Relations Issues. This Includes Experience In Gathering And Analyzing Evidence, Interviewing Witnesses, And Documenting Findings.
