- Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline the underwriting process.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the underwriting process.
- Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters and assist with training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as loan servicing and legal, to facilitate loan closings.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with borrowers and industry partners.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance goals and contribute to the overall success of the multifamily lending division.
- Uphold the company's values and mission in all job duties and interactions with others.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Multifamily Loans.
Strong Understanding Of Commercial Real Estate Market And Industry Trends.
Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Guidelines, Such As Fannie Mae And Freddie Mac Lending Requirements.
Excellent Analytical And Risk Assessment Skills, With The Ability To Make Sound Lending Decisions.
