- Develop and implement a comprehensive capital stress testing framework for Citigroup in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee the execution of all capital stress testing activities, including scenario design, data collection and analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy in stress testing processes.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and internal risk factors to identify potential risks and inform stress testing scenarios.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management based on stress testing results.
- Lead a team of analysts and specialists responsible for conducting stress tests and producing insightful reports.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Continuously review and enhance the capital stress testing framework to improve its effectiveness and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in stress testing methodologies and incorporate them into Citigroup's practices.
- Champion a culture of risk awareness and compliance within the organization by promoting a strong risk management mindset and providing training and guidance to employees.
Extensive Experience In Capital Stress Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Capital Stress Testing, Preferably In A Large Financial Institution. This Should Include Experience In Designing And Executing Stress Testing Scenarios, Analyzing Results, And Communicating Findings To Senior Management.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements Related To Capital Stress Testing, Including Those Set By The Federal Reserve And Other Relevant Regulatory Bodies. This Should Include Knowledge Of Current And Upcoming Regulatory Changes And Their Potential Impact On The Organization.
Advanced Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Head Of Capital Stress Testing Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Complex Data And Identifying Potential Risks To The Organization's Capital Adequacy. Therefore, The Candidate Must Possess Advanced Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Develop Solutions To Mitigate Risks.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities: This Role Requires Strong Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Communicate Stress Testing Results And Recommendations To Senior Management And Other Stakeholders. The Candidate Should Be Able To Lead A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments To Ensure The Successful Implementation Of Stress Testing Initiatives.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Financial Products And Markets: The Head Of Capital Stress Testing Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Various Financial Products And Markets, Including Credit, Market, And Liquidity Risk. This Knowledge Is Essential In Designing Stress Testing Scenarios That Accurately Reflect The Organization's Risk Profile.
