- Oversee Fund Accounting Process: The Fund Accounting Lead Analyst will be responsible for managing and supervising the entire fund accounting process, including daily accounting activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure Accurate and Timely Reporting: This role requires the individual to ensure all fund accounting reports are accurate, timely and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and Implement Processes: The Lead Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the fund accounting process.
- Monitor and Analyze Financial Data: The individual will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data, including fund performance, expenses, and asset valuations, to identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with Team Members: This role requires the individual to collaborate with other team members, including portfolio managers, to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
- Train and Mentor Team Members: The Fund Accounting Lead Analyst will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior team members to ensure they have a deep understanding of fund accounting principles and procedures.
- Stay Up-to-date with Industry Changes: It is essential for the individual to stay informed and knowledgeable about any changes in fund accounting regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Adhere to Compliance Standards: The Lead Analyst must ensure all fund accounting activities are in compliance with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Identify and Resolve Issues: In the event of any discrepancies or issues, the individual must be able to identify the root cause and take corrective actions to resolve them.
- Develop and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: The Fund Accounting Lead Analyst will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fund Accounting, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Lead Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Financial Reporting For Investment Funds.
Experience With Various Investment Products, Such As Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, And Private Equity Funds.
Proficient In Financial Software And Systems, Such As Bloomberg, Advent Geneva, And Eagle Investment Systems.
